In the early twentieth century arose an elite watches company that would soar above the rest. Hans Wilsdorf and his brother created Rolex. Beginning in England but moving their business to Switzerland, they would go on to create a timepiece that was literally fit for kings.
Winston Churchill immortalized his few who were outstanding fighter pilots of Britains RAF. So impressed by their skills, Hans generously produced a line of watches to honor these men and presented to them personally the ???Air Giant, Air Tiger, Air Lion, and the Air King. Although the line only lasted until the 1960s, the Air King continues in production as an all time favorite of collectors everywhere.
As with most lines of Rolex, the Air King was prone to becoming quite expensive making it affordable only to the wealthy and thereby creating the demand for a replica Breitling watches. Although much more affordable, the replicas have sacrificed nothing in quality or design. The Air King is simple in design, more so than other Rolex lines, but uses the same stainless steel case and bracelets as the other models. It has the Swiss engineered perpetual motion the dial size is a 34mm and water resistant.
Because of the lack of flare as other Rolex models, the Air King is not quite as expensive as others. However, it is still out of reach for the average person. The replica Rolex Air King is much more available at a fraction of the cost of the originals. Considering the cost, the replicas leave nothing to be desired in quality of automatic motion, or the stylish design making them almost unnoticed as a replica to the untrained eye. They are virtually identical and mechanically sound, making them one of the top selling replicas on the market.
